Day One, Time, uh......... Let's say Noon

The sun cascaded through the leaves in beams of light, shining through her eyelids, practically piercing into her pupals. She squeezed her eyes shut tighter, trying to fall back asleep, but it was too late; she was awake and SO not ready for the day. Rolling on her side, she thought, 'Did I fall off the bed again? God, I gotta stop that.' The ground was too firm to be her bed but, as she rolled, she felt something big and jagged scratch her arm and forced her eyes open. Instead of a mountain of unfolded clean laundry, she saw the trunk of a tree about a foot away surrounded by swaying blades of grass and rocks. Slowly, groggily, she sat up and searched her surroundings, finding she wasn't in her studio apartment, listening to horns screaming for attention.

She was in a beautiful, clear glen with a small stream flowing behind the tree, flowers poking out of the grass and tickling her bare feet. The air was so clear, a deep breath in and she didn't feel like choking. Slowly, shakily she stood up, feeling like Bambi trying to walk, and looked at her surroundings.

There were no buildings to be seen, no roads, no man-made blemishes. Tall trees, flowing streams and sparkling water reflecting the sun and clear skies overhead. She took a step forward and tripped over what she thought was a root or a fallen branch but when she looked down, she saw a scroll with a red ribbon wrapped around it and a small dagger stuck through an end of the ribbon, stapling the scroll to the ground.

She pulled the dagger from the ground and carefully examined it. The blade was about three inches long leading to a rounded Y-shaped hilt, the ends painted with red roses. She gingerly placed the hilt in her palm and wrapped her fingers around it, the blade nestled comfortably between her fingers and a transparent square with golden boarders and black lettering appeared in her view. She shifted her eyes left and right but it followed like a squiggly line in her eye. It wouldn't go away so she read through it.

Breast Dagger

Durability 15/15

Rarity Common

This simple blade is perfect for the woman on the go who needs to keep her virtue protected. This weapon fits perfectly between the breast and, if positioned properly, will not cut breast.

'A breast dagger?' she thought as the square faded away. 'Well, I guess that makes sense but why do I need a breast dagger?'

She picked up the scroll carefully and another square appeared, this one with white boreders.

Beginners Scroll

Durability: 10/10

Rarity: Common

This scroll contains all information needed for a first time player as well as day one information. After it has been used 5 times, the information will vanish and turn to a blank scroll.

'Beginners scroll? Wonder what's in it.' She looked at the breast dagger and the wax seal over the ribbon. It didn't have anything like a crest or coat of arms so there was no way to find out who's it was. 'I guess finders keepers?' she thought, slowly slid the dagger blade under the ribbon and tore the wax seal off the paper. The ribbon slowly fell and vanished before it touched the ground. She read slowly, downloading the information as carefully as she could.

She sat carefully, her legs sore from standing so long, and laid the scroll next to her, leaving it open so as not to use up the amount of times she can see this information. She closed her eyes and thought carefully of a 'Stats Page.' After a minute, she saw nothing and opened her eyes, seeing a transparent scroll floating in front of her. Curious, she reached out to it but her hand touched nothing. She moved it closer and further from her face but felt nothing. 'Must be a mirage,' she thought and began reading.

"Half-elf!?" she hollored, hearing her voice for the first time. Instead of her femininely-deep voice, it flowed melodically, like her mother singing her nephew to sleep.

She picked up the scroll and quickly looked for the "views left" section, which remained at 4. 'As long as I don't close it, I won't use up any views,' she deduced and read on.

As a half-elf, you gain 30% increase to distribute toward your levels (health, stamina, mana) as well as 7 points to characteristics (dexterity, intelligence, charisma, strength, luck). Distribute your points wisely as once they are distributed, they cannot be taken back.

All the world needs to know now is...

WHAT IS YOUR NAME?

Another transparent window with a flashing quill in inkwell appeared, reading the words, "Please WRITE your name."

Luna reached out and grabbed the quill with one hand, feeling the soft pheasant feather materialize in her fingers. Another square appeared, blocking the name box.

Attention!

Do not use your name from your previous life! This is a new life, you need a new name.

The box disappeared after she finished reading and all was left was the name box. 'A new name?' she thought. 'Well, uh...' Her mind raced through lists of names she could use, many she couldn't, and settled on one that itself meant "Before a new period." She smiled, wrote carefully and proclaimed in her new voice, "My name is Eve."
