"Darling," Iris called her husband, her voice a faint whisper.

"I'm here, love," Jin Liwei said while leaning closer to her to make it easier for him to hear her soft, weak voice.

"Jin Corporation is safe."

Jin Liwei's expression hardened and his whole body tensed as guilt ate at him deep inside. His wife shouldn't have overexerted herself defending his company. It was his responsibility, not hers.
