A young woman

Gulping hard, he stepped forward until he was so close to her, he swore he could smell her scent. The subtle fresh wild rose. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath.

Instead of feeling better, his body getting more uncomfortable especially his lower part. He looked down in frustration.

If he were to do what he wanted, what his body demanded, it would be called r.ap.e. And she would hate him.

No. He must not do anything that would end to her hating him. He must do everything he could to melt her heart. To make her accept him back wholeheartedly.

His shaking hand tried to reach for the blanket. His initial idea or plan was to protect her from the coldness of the air cond. He wanted to pull the blanket to cover her.

But the One above really wanted to play game with her.

She turned around and sighed blissfully.

The blanket dropped more and… baring her upper body to his eyes.

His eyes widened.

She did not wear anything!

He should suspect something was wrong when he stepped onto the crumpled robe just now. He should guess something like this when he saw just a little hint of her creamy white flesh. Her delicious body.

He should have guess she was sleeping in nude!

He was getting more uncomfortable.

Oh God, why are you torturing me like this? Are You laughing up there?

This is not funny, not funny at all.

He closed his eyes and took few deep breaths.

Control his mind so he could control his body.

He opened back his eyes but the sight of her reposition her body made him groan in defeat.

He did not remember her moving this much when they were together.

He quickly closed back his eyes and counted to ten… very-very slowly.

Maybe he should join in the meditate class thing Mika kept yammering about. Although it did not make Mika's behaviour getting better, her depression was actually getting better.

But the only way to make his calm was to be with his Ryn. Nothing or no one could make him feel better.

However now, the person who was making him very uncomfortable was her. Maybe what people said about love could be both poison and medicine was right.

She was the one who made him uncomfortable without she even realized it and at the same time, she was his salvation, his heaven.

His fists clutched tightly as he stepped forward… closer… and closer toward her.

He closed his eyes. His shaking hand reached blindly for the blanket. Once he could touch the fabric, he threw it over the still sleeping Ryn and made a dash toward the door.

He must escape quickly before he does something he would regret for the rest of his life.

Instead of going into his room, he went straight to the dining room and grabbed a bottle of red wine chilling in the iced tub. He poured into a glass until the rim and gulped it down.

He closed his eyes, trying to forget the beautiful sight but it was all he saw whether he closed his eyes or opened them.

Tonight was a miserable night for him.

*~*~*~*~*

The car stopped in front of Angel's house. Harry got out and hurriedly went to his aunt's home.

He had no idea why his mother suddenly ordered him to go there but from the sound of it, something was wrong.

"Aunty?"

He unlocked the door and rushed inside.

"Aun… ty?"

He stopped when he noticed a younger woman sitting on the couch in the living room.

He froze when the woman stood up and looked at him.

"Harry?"

He gave a slight nod. His teeth clenched tight. He did not want to open his mouth in case he said something. He went to the studio, hoping his crazy aunt would be there.

And he was right.

She was there, wrapping a painting carefully.

"Is the woman outside your client?" he asked, refused to utter her name.

"Hmm…"

"Why are you calling me here?" he asked. He had no idea how he could still maintain his tone toward his absent-minded aunt.

"She said she knew you and is hoping to see you," she replied without thinking. With a huff, she lifted up the painting and walked toward the door.

"You are blocking the way."

Harry gave way automatically. Then, he sighed, his shoulders slumped down.

"Let me bring it," he took the painting from her and brought it to the living room, where the woman was still sitting there.

He placed it on the floor. Without looking at her, he quickly walked away.

"Harry, wait…" She wanted to stop him but he was too fast and Angel was telling her where the most suitable place to hang it.

She sighed heavily. Her shoulders slumped down.

"This is the rest of the payment." She handed an envelope.

"Harry, come here and bring the painting into the car," Angel called her nephew happily.

She could buy new canvas with this money.

Harry came slowly and without another word, lifting the painting and walked to the car parking outside. He finally realized another car was parked near the house.

He should realize it belonged to her with its striking colour; neon yellow.

If he knew, if he noticed it, he would not go into the house. He would find an excuse and leave the place.

He opened the bonnet and place it inside. Then, he closed it back and walked into the house.

"Aunty, if there is nothing else, I have to go now."

Before both the women could say anything, he quickly headed to his car and started the engine.

"Harry, wait up," she finally made up her mind and rushed outside, trying to stop Harry.

However, her cry was ignored and he drove the car away.

"Harry," she cried.

She was still standing there even when the car was no longer in her sight.

"Harry, I'm sorry…" she choked out sadly.
