Hi Ren

Ding dong! The doorbell rang. Who could be visiting us today? We are not expecting anyone right? We are doing our usual weekend general cleaning.

"I'll get it." I hurriedly washed my hands and wiped it dry. As I opened it I was greeted by a tall gentleman maybe same as height as Reeve with a black wavy hair that was carefully waxed. He was wearing a this big round glasses and he apparently looked like Doctor Bae Moon-jeong in Romantic Doctor Kim Season two except that he doesn't look korean but more like mixed american. He's wearing an inner blue shirt with a white polo partnered with a a knee length denim and white sneakers. After having a quick look at the person in front of me, I leaned my head to the side and wondered if Reeve ordered something. He doesn't look like a delivery man to me but he's holding this cake box from Contis.

"Yes?" I asked? This is my bad habit. I should've peeped on the doorhole before opening the door.

"Sachie! How many times do I have to tell you to-" he stopped mid-sentence and ran towarda the door upon seeing him. He stood behind me and placed his chin above my head.

"Ren! What brought you here?" I looked up at Reeve and he removed his chin and opened the door wide for him.

"Just visiting I guess?" he handed over the cake box to him, removed his shoes and went inside. Reeve gave me the box and I placed it on the dining table.

He went directly to Kenji who was playing inside his crib. "Hey boy! What's up? It's nice to see you again!" Kenji looked up and crawled towards him. "Look at him! The first time I saw him he was like this big but now he's grown much and already trying to stand!" he took Kenji from the crib and sat on the couch where Reeve was already sitting.

"Only you?" Reeve asked.

"Yeah... He wanted to come actually but something urgent came up." Reeve looked somehow relieved.

I started preparing the cake and juice but I think tea and coffee would be better but I guess with this hot weather something cold would be nice. He bought Mango Brava. This one is good. I learned recently that Reeve loves mangoes. I held the tray and put it on the center table and then gave them their shares.

"You're not eating?" Ren asked.

"Ah... I'll join you later." I excused myself and returned to continued where I left off earlier.

"Still in bad terms with him?" Ren asked after taking a bite of his cake while Kenji was trying to get some from him. "Can I?" he asked if he could gave Kenji a little. I nodded.

"We can't come back to the way we were before." I felt sad with the way things are going. Everything is becoming so complicated.

"Have you told her yet?" he asked while giving Kenji a little bite of the cake.

"How to tell her?" I brushed my hair and tied it again into a bun.

He paused for a while. "I don't know" he shrugged. "But things might be bad once he comes here which is we don't know when. He wants to see his kid too." Honestly I don't want him to come. It's better if he backs off but who am I to do that? I don't have any rights. In the end it will be up to Sachie.

"Yeah..." I replied tiredly. It's been bugging me for weeks now but I'm still trying to act normal.

"He's been looking for this little one here and for Christie. When he learned that he's here he didn't come directly instead he went to you first."

"Yeah but we still end up fighting. What to do? We can't fix anything."

"Both of you are not trying." he said nonchalantly.

"I'm trying I think..." I sighed. When did I start hating him so much? If I could turn back time then we wouldn't end this way.

"I was surprised when I saw you at the mall and a little mad for hiding that you are already starting your own family." he glared at me jokingly. "I was like what happened? Seems like we were caught up in our own little worlds that we somehow forgot to keep in touch."

"Yeah... We are working adults. Adulting." I laughed. I'm adulting like planning for the future is on my agendas now.

"I'm not taking sides man but please do tell her..."

"Yeah... But not now..." I hope she's won't think that I'm hiding it from her.

"Oh I haven't introduced you properly. Let me call her." I stood up and headed to her room. I knocked and she answered with a 'hmmmm.' I peeked at the door and found her sitting on floor while looking at some photos. So someone's not cleaning properly. "Come! I'll introduce you to my cousin." she looked at me with a puzzled look. "I want you to meet my cousin."

"Oh" she stood up and dusted herself then followed me. I motioned for her to sit down and did the introductions. I was excited on having Ren here that I totally forgot that they didn't know each other.

"Ren this is Sachie and Sachie this is Ren my cousin." Sachie offered her hand and Ren gladly took it. "Pleased to meet you and thank you for taking care of Reeve." he winked at me and Sachie chucked. "He's been the one who's taking good care of us." Ren looked at me mischievously like its impossible. I shrugged at him in return with a smirk on my face.

"So Sachie I would like to know how your love story started." he smirked back at me. Like are you for real? I gulped. We haven't talked about this assuming that nobody would ask. I scratched the side of my neck.

Looks like we're in trouble...
