Fighting A Shurymite Lord

'Blood Cross!'

Morrok exclaimed before creating a cross shaped air blade made out of blood. He then threw it at Jay and kept creating Blood Crosses one after another.

~Fwoosh, fwoosh...

At first, Jay decided to dodge the blood crosses that Morrok threw at him. But when he saw that the blood crosses were going to hit the bald headed Shurymites who were still tied up, he decided to just block the blood crosses with his feathers.

"All of you just fuck off already!" Jay shouted as he used 'Blood Dart' and targeted the rope binding the five nearest bald headed Shurymites. Not even wasting any more time with them, he jumped away from them since he was the one being targeted by Morrok.

The five Shurymites who Jay freed did not know why he freed them, but they knew that they should at least return the favor next time and at least be of some help. So they decided to free the rest of their fellowmen who was still bounded by ropes and flee together.

"Come on! Take your best shot weakling!" Jay taunted Morrok in order to give the bald headed Shurymites extra time for them to flee. He was even faking his pained expression as he got hit by the blood crosses. In truth is, he was just actually absorbing the blood crosses through the red patterns on his feathers.

"Hahaha!!! Big talk human!"

Morrok shouted as he quickened his pace in creating and throwing blood crosses at Jay. He was so fast that it looked like he was shooting two red beams of light at Jay.

This went on for a while since there were thousands of the bald heads who were tied up. Then after they were long gone...

"Impossible! Why are you still standing!?? Drop dead already!!!" Morrok shouted as he continued throwing blood crosses at Jay. The reason why he did not use anything else was because he felt too prideful of himself and believed in the power of his 'Blood Cross' spell.

"This is Sacred Blood Magic? PATHETIC!"

Jay shouted loudly as he stretched out his two winged arms, creating a very strong gust of wind that scattered the Blood Crosses hitting him. The gust of wind he made was so strong that the dust in the ground moved with it, creating a mini dust storm, with Jay as the center.

"Woah. I didn't expect that my simple moves such as this gets amplified drastically just because of Blood Magic. So if I start flapping my wings..." Jay thought to himself before flapping his wings and flew a few meters above the ground.

~Whoosh, whoosh...

Every flap of his two wings created the same gust of wind he used to disperse the blood crosses. So right now, he and Morrok were inside a dust storm.

"What the hell is this?" Morrok thought to himself and rubbed his eyes before using a counterattack against the dust storm Jay was brewing.

'Blood Storm!'

There were many things Jay thought of when Morrok shouted "Blood Storm." He thought Morrok will suddenly create a rain of blood, a lightning bolt made of blood, etc. But the moment Morrok used the so called spell, it was just actually some kind of red-colored sandstorm. But instead of sand, it was blood.

But the Blood Storm only lasted for a few seconds since Morrok only used it to disperse the dust storm Jay brewed up.

"Die!"

Morrok shouted as he stomped on the ground and lunged at Jay, who was still in mid air.

'Blood Hunt'

Jay suddenly sensed a very dangerous threat the moment Morrok shouted. Not wanting to find out what it is, he used Feather Mirage and moved out of the way.

The moment Morrok smashed his entire body on the cluster of feathers, he quickly crashed down back to the ground and lunged at Jay again, who was still flying in mid air.

"Shit. His speed is accelerating every time he hits something. There's no way I can block that without taking serious damage." Jay thought to himself as he dodged and dodged. He was only fast enough to dodge because of the weightlessness of the Vampire Chicken form.

After around twenty times Morrok lunged at Jay...

"Annoying insect!" Morrok said furiously. He knew his body cannot take it anymore if he continues using 'Blood Hunt' and will get ripped to pieces if his speed will continue to increase. So before performing his last lunge, he turned his fingers into long black claws before lunging at Jay again.

"Screw it!"

Jay thought to himself and decided to test out the waters. He applied the skill 'Instant Shatter' to his clawed feet as he clashed with Morrok by kicking him with both of his feet.

"Die! Die! Die!"

"Get lost!"

Jay and Morrok shouted furiously at each other as the two of them clashed in mid air. The power of their attacks were evenly matched. Just as Jay was about to jump down the ground the moment Morrok moved away after their clash...

"Damn you!!!"

A loud shout suddenly came from one of the holes. Then suddenly, the ground started to quake as Balkor emerged from the hole Jay pushed him in. He climbed out of the hole by using the tentacles on his jet black armor.

"Shit. Isn't there some kind of demonic being under the holes? Why isn't this guy dead yet?" Jay thought to himself as he moved far away from the two Shurymite lords.

"Hahaha!!! You might have pushed me this far human, but your about to meet your doom!" Morrok shouted as a black tentacle suddenly appeared on his back. He immediately detached it from his back and turned it into a long bow. After doing so, he equipped it on his right hand and created a blood arrow on his left hand.

As for Balkor, his hands were still in the form of two jet black swords.

Jay knew he had no chance in winning against the two so he quickly racked his brain for a plan.

Then suddenly, out of nowhere, the red skull in his mind room appeared next to him.

"Master, let me take over your body."

"Wait what?!!" Jay was shocked with what the red skull said. He was running out of ideas at the moment so he asked it if there are any risks if he lets the red skull take over his body.

"The only risk is that I won't be able to help you for an entire week after I take over your body. I have to recover my power by resting deep within the red book before I can return to my normal state. So it means that you won't be able to consult me about blood magic for an entire week if you let me take over your body."

Just as Jay was about to think it through...

"Die!"

Balkor suddenly rushed towards him and twirled around. It was as if Balkor turned into a cyclone of blades heading at great speed towards Jay.

"Do it!" Jay quickly shouted at the red skull and allowed it to take over his body.

The red skull that was beside him suddenly disappeared and Jay's eyes suddenly turned dark red. A baleful aura surrounded him and his feathers started to glow red.

"Please forgive us sir! We will finish this immediately!" Morrok suddenly said loudly, panicking, the moment the red skull took over Jay's body.

"Sir?" Jay thought to himself. Meanwhile, his body that was being controlled suddenly jerked a bit before his head looked up the sky.

~Ffffff... (inhaling sounds)

A ball made out of blood suddenly formed on top of Jay's head. It became smaller and smaller every second until it was as small as a speck of dust.

"Balkor! Stop your advance and kneel down!" Morrok shouted in panic as he knelt down and dropped the black bow he was holding.

Before Balkor could even stop his advance, 'Jay' already released the blood ball he created and aimed it at Balkor.

The moment it hit Balkor, he suddenly stopped moving and dropped to the ground. Then after a few seconds, his body started to inflate before exploding into pieces, with all of his guts and innards splattering around.

"Master, sorry for the disappointment, but I have to rest now." The blood skull said to Jay as his control over Jay's body disappeared and Jay regained control again.

"What the fuck?!! What the actual fuck!!!" Jay thought to himself, feeling shocked about how strong the red skull was. But setting this thought aside, he was wondering why one of the Shurymite lords he fought dropped on his knees, feeling panicked.

To find an answer to this thought, he first incapacitated the Shurymite Lord who was on his knees by stuffing a Blood Egg down his throat and pinning him on the ground using Featherstorm.

Morrok did not even had a chance to retaliate before Jay pinned him down.

"You... just how..."

"Just how what?" Jay asked.

"The aura of the War God. How the hell does a human like you..." Morrok tried to continue speaking but he suddenly coughed up a lot of blood.

"The War God? Speak!" Jay grabbed Morrok by the neck and threatened to kill him if he does not continue speaking.

"Your aura is... similar to our War God. How did you do it?!" Morrok shouted before Jay slashed his throat with a swipe of his right wing.
