Golden Moon Class Academy (Part 2)

When everyone entered the teleportation gate, the first thing they saw was void. Nothingness. Then after a few seconds later, they suddenly felt their bodies getting very light and weightless. Due to this weird stuff, everyone except Jay and Nuggets cannot help but get dizzy.

While they were in the teleportation void, Jay was trying to remember the lore behind the Golden Moon Class Academy, and the rest of the things related to it.

...

The Golden Moon Class Academy was a huge fortress located on a floating island above the skies of Greengarden. Only a few people in the kingdom knew of its existence since it has been built over 10,000 years ago. It was said that this place was supposed to be Greengarden, but for some reason, the previous kings decided to build a city below the place, which became known as the city of Greengarden.

The floating island has 5 different areas. Each of these areas were unique in their own ways, depending on the structures and magicka concentration in each area. These five areas were:

The Winter Bastion (northern area)

The Great Desert (eastern area)

Windy Peaks (southern area)

Great Divide Canyon (western area)

Central (center area)

The academy was located at the northern part of the floating island. It looked like a mansion. The walls was made out of a strange golden stone that glimmered a blue and chilling light during the night. The doors were made out of a rare type of wood and had an arch shape. As for the windows, it was made out of the same type of wood and had a crystal-like glass. Near the academy was the student dormitories that looked like modern-day dorms, but where made out of wood and stone.

Besides the academy, there were also 4 mage towers, an observatory, and a lot of places for learning like libraries, archives, etc. These structures were scattered all over the island.

There was also a large dome in the center of the floating island that served as the academy's grand arena, where students compete in different fields, depending on their Class. Some even say that somewhere within the floating island, there is an inheritance site left behind by the first king of Wildergreene.

--- Golden Moon Class Academy, Teleportation Tower ---

After a few seconds after Jay and co. got teleported...

"New students eh? Interesting. It has been more than 3 years since the last ones arrived."

A charming lady with long reddish hair and slim body said as she saw the teleportation gate activating. Her name was Jill Kirstein. She was in charge of the teleportation tower of the academy. She was currently wearing a white robe that had golden trims and had the symbol of a golden crescent moon printed on its back.

After a few seconds of waiting, she saw 10 people exiting the teleportation gate and a golden chicken.

...

While everyone except Jay and Nuggets was trying their best not to puke, Jill closed the teleportation gate and welcomed them.

"Welcome to the Golden Moon Class Academy."

But even thought she said that delightedly and happily, she saw almost all of them wanting to puke and that is just disgusting. She then used a healing spell to cure everyone from their dizziness. After that, she continued speaking.

"Please bear with me as I will teleport you all to the academy's testing hall." After saying that, she snapped her fingers and everyone suddenly got teleported out of the room.

--- Golden Moon Class Academy, Testing Hall ---

The academy's testing hall was located in the northern area, also near the academy. This place was used by the different leaders of the academy to test an individuals potential and talent. As for new students, they were teleported here to check if they have enough potential and talent to enter the academy. If not, they will be teleported back to the teleportation tower, and then back to the city.

Right now, Jay and co. were standing within the testing hall. The testing hall looked like a metallic box lined with golden and bluish magic runes. Besides than the magic runes, there was nothing else in the room. No decorations, no doors, no windows.

"Guild Master, ummm..." One of the clerics, Annie, wanted to ask Jay what was up with this metallic box they were in at the moment. But Jay just signaled her and everyone to wait.

Then after a few seconds, 10 people got teleported in the room with them. There were 2 old men, 5 males, 3 females, and a small boy. These people wore the same attire Jill was wearing. The only difference was that each of these people was their looks and had an emblem placed on their robes.

After they got teleported in the room, they lined up opposite of Jay and co. and welcomed them. The one who spoke up was one of the old men.

"Welcome to the Golden Moon Academy. Before we introduce ourselves and make you official members of our society, we will first determine if you deserve to be part of our society." After he spoke, he snapped his fingers and a large floating glass orb appeared at the center of the room.

Then the little boy spoke.

"Alright! Now, please approach the 'Orb of Testing' one by one and place your right hand over it and release it when we tell you to stop." After saying this, the little boy went back

Jay and co. did what the boy told them. The first on to touch the orb of testing was Roasted Boar. The moment he touched the orb, it suddenly started blinking in different colors. Then after 3 seconds later, a numerical value was shown together with a few words.

...

Talent Rating: 78

Class: Tier I - Sorcerer

...

When the ten people from the academy saw the talent rating, one of the women told Roasted Boar that he passed.

"Whew..." Roasted Boar sighed as he released his touch on the orb. Everyone had their turn and their talent rating ranged around 70-89. There talent ratings were:

Roasted Boar: 78

Abyssal Angel: 83

Hot Buns: 80

Bloody Harvest: 85

Annie: 85

Abby: 86

Roselia: 71

Boras: 89

Yale: 70

These scores were just actually average and was within the passing mark of the academy. Then, it was finally Jay's turn.

Bawk Bawk!!!

Nuggets started flapping her wings and did small jumps, probably to show excitement since it was Jay's turn.

"Alright. But why do I feel my bad luck senses tingling again?" Jay thought to himself as he approached the orb, closed his eyes, touched it, and hoped for the best. Then, after 3 seconds, something strange happened. The whole testing hall started to shake, and the glass orb slowly showed cracks until it shattered into a million pieces.

While Jay was oblivious to what was happening around him, the ten people from the academy were shocked and stupefied with what was happening. One of the old men even started to panic and shouted at Jay.

"REMOVE YOUR HAND NOW!"

When Jay heard the shout, he opened his eyes as he released his grasp on the orb. After that, he saw the devastation he caused.

"What the f**k?"
