Imi's eyes gleamed. This was the first time his sword was upgraded, ever since it was given five years ago.
Regurr handed the sword to Imi. "Take good care of it. I'll go back to my room, I'm still a little bit sleepy." Regurr said while yawning.
Imi's nodded his head and then hurriedly looked at his sword to see the changes.

Imi's smiled wryly. What can a 2% amplification do? Add a little tickle?
But Imi was still happy. He knows that this is not the last upgrade of his sword. His sword will continue to grow as he grows, so he didn't worry about it.
Noticing the word sword form, Imi felt curious. Imi focused his mind to the sword and he felt that it can change to another form, the Wand Form. Using his mind to change the sword's form into a magic wand.
Imi felt great. With this, he might perform surprise attacks. As long as his opponents thought he was a mage, then it'll be their fatal mistake.
Imi now felt satisfied. He went outside to the forest, he wanted to test his sword.
Forest's name was Forest of Unrest. This forest was right below the mountain range Imi staying.
Imi wandered around the forest, but he didn't go too far away. He listens well to his gramps advice, he doesn't disrespect it.
After wandering for a while, he met a four feet deer. This deer is called Buckler-Horned Deer.
Its two horns were in a shape of a round-shield. This deer was a very formidable enemy.
Its reaction-time was superb. It can block attack using its shield-like horns.
Imi changes the wands form, brandishing his sword sending a sword qi to the deer. The sword qi released by his sword grown a little thicker and stronger. Just as the sword qi was about to reach the deer, its horns radiated an azure light. The horns absorbed his sword qi just like that. But Imi seems to not care about it. Imi then sends five sword qis and a fireball to the deer. The deer used its other horn to block 2 to 3 sword qi's while dodging the rest.
A white puff of smoke was released on the deer's nostrils. The deer seemed angered by Imi's attacks. It charged towards him with eyes red.
Imi again sends another round of sword qis. Now the deer used its horn that was hit by a single sword qi, turning the horns into red with cracks on it.
Now the deer was fueled by anger, its whole body radiated in azure lights.
It charged in an incredible speed reaching Imi in just a second. It tried to swing its blood red horns to Imi.
Sensing something dangerous, Imi dodges the horn attack.
Boom!
The horn sends a destructive force, destroying the trees from 5 meters away of its horn.
Imi's back was sweating cold. That attack was deadly-lethal.
Seeing that the deer was getting exhausted. That attack took a huge toll to its body.
Imi then takes the advantage of the deer's weekend state. He rolled below the deer, striking its stomach. Blood and its internal organs gush out of the wound.
The deer knelt feeling weaker. Losing its perception and agility. Imi dealt a heavy blow to the deer's head, finally killing it.
A stick like azure light shined on its body.
This was Imi's first encounter of it but Regurr told him about it. This was the so-called item drop. When Imi touched the azure light a screen popped out of nowhere.
Right in the screen was three things. The first was 50 bronze coins, seconds were two Buckler Horns but it needed to be personally cut and the last one was a skill book. The skill book was called Sustain Ground.

Sustain Ground
Description: as strong as a mountain. Won't let you kneel in front of your enemies. Absorbs heavy amount of damage and can be released as a destructive force towards its enemies. Damage absorption depends on endurance.

So that bloody red light that the horns of the deer emitted was the skill "Sustain Ground".
Imi's eyes shined like crystals. He cut the horns from the deer's head and he also cut some meaty parts of the deer.
Imi was feeling exhausted from that fight. That Buckler-Horned Deer was a level 1 magic beast. In his level of cultivation, he can only fight a Level 1 enemy once.
He brought the horns and meat back to the mountain range. What Imi's brought was very heavy but he treated it as training his own body.
Imi trekked the mountain range. When he reached a shabby house, his body was dripping wet of sweat.
Imi placed the meat and horns and shouted, "Old gramps I brought some food."
"Oh, you acquire a lot of goods." Said Regurr.
"Gramps, can I use this skill book called Sustain Ground?" Imi showed Regurr the skill book while he asked permission.
"Let me take a look first." Regurr took the skill book, reading its uses and identifying its pros and cons. "This is a good defensive skill but the damage that can be absorbed depends on the users level of endurance. Once it reaches the limit of endurance the user will be injured if the energy was not released. If I'm going to score this from 1 to 10, I'll give it 6. It's a satisfying skill." Regurr assessed.
Imi quickly presses the skill book. The book transformed into white lights vanishing from sight.
Imi then received a system notification. Saying he acquired the skill.
Imi also gives the bronze coins but Regurr rejected the coins saying he doesn't need money. Imi placed the coins in his pouch and then he showed another item, this time Regurr's attention was captured by the horns.
"This was the horns I obtained from the Buckler-Horned Deer." Imi stated.
Regurr placed his hands to the horns. The horns then reacted, it shined in azure color.
"This is a good material. Even though it has some cracks on it, with some materials and a careful refinement it will become a good shield." Regurr said.
"There are still some traces of magic circuits on it. It's an appropriate item for the use of the skill [Sustain Ground]. If it will be refined as a shield, it can take the damage for you when using the [Sustain Ground] skill. You'll only receive a little backlash." Regurr explained.
Imi was elated, who knows that this horn was a formidable material. Imi then asked Regurr to refine the horns into a shield.
