A thunderous impact could be heard, however Myoushu hadn't moved an inch. Her face didn't even twitch, She just stopped mid-throw and dropped the other two genin. A mixture of confusion and admiration was shown in her expression for a few seconds. These brats were supposed to be fresh from the academy. The coordinated assault from Aiki and Ren was within expectation, after all Aiki had already been Myoushu's apprentice for two years prior due to and arrangement made with Aiki' s mother who was formerly in Myoushu's squad. She would have been disappointed if Aiki had nothing to show for it.
However this Keisan kid showed even greater analytical skills. not only did he come to the conclusion that this was a test of teamwork after a single round of attacks, but he'd even planned a perfectly coordinated attack without even hearing his teams plan. He probably even factored in Myoushu's hubris, this new generation might just be filled with monsters, She mused to herself. "Congratulations squad 9 has passed it's first mission, I accept you three as my provisional squad. That Sheddo bastards been really active lately so the number of scouting missions has almost doubled recently. Today you have proven yourselves to have the basic necessary aptitude to take on such requests. I give you three 1 week to get acclimated as a team, on the 8th morning you'll be accompanying me on a real mission."
A still somewhat impressed Myoushu had warmed up considerably to her team. It was worth mentioning that other than Konohagakure and Kirigakure the villages had vastly different atmospheres than the cannon villages. For instance Kumogakure consisted mostly of Battle junkie and researcher type personalities, especially in the top ranks. While they consisted mostly of Battle junkies in terms of their impression on the outside world they were considered to be a chaotic good nation. The reason for this is in the NCC verse the blood mist village truly earned it's name. Kirigakure was constantly attacking or pillages other villages and their resources. They even openly harbored fugitives from other villages. This gave the battle junkies in Kumogakure the perfect stage to be good, despite the fact they only ever apprehended corpses.
However while Keisan was deep in thought the temperament of his village wasn't the subject matter. From the very second Myoushu had mentioned Sheddo his world froze. Damn it i made this character way after Sheddo got banned! Sheddo Dakkunesu was one of the first five kage on the board. In the early days there weren't many members so active members could just open apply for kage spots. Well as all things are faulty in the beginning, Sheddo became the first approved god-moded character. What is god-modding? God-modding is a term we use for people that propose a character that even exceeds the common sense for even legendary characters in the world. So what made Sheddo so powerful? Well for one the Dakkunesu clan bloodline was Blood Style offering the offensive potential of lightning, the defensive potential of earth, and the versatility of water the way he used it. even worse he had a pseudo vampirism technique that aloud him to drain chakra from opponents wounds in proportion to the amount of blood they lose.
That however was just the tip of the iceberg, apparently somewhere along the line the Dakkunesu clan gave birth to a great fuuinjutsu master who formed a family contract with the Great Seal Coral. Each member of the clan is now bestowed one such coral contract. Each contract is with a newborn coral, which would seem rather useless but the thing that made these stationary coral powerful is the fact that a newborn coral is stronger than steel and has anywhere from 1000-5000 ancient fuuinjutsu formulas inscribed on it. These coral were like a veritable squad army knife off fuuinjutsu. Officially Even mizukage Sheddo only knew how to use around 50 of them which already was an arsenal all on it's own, but that didn't stop him from conveniently "discovering" new ones whenever he was in trouble. Factor in the generally overbearing stats and knowledge of any kage and the result is NCC's very own Madera. The board even made an arc where the other 4 kage teamed up to beat him when they banned him!
Keisan did not want to go anywhere near that monstrosity. Despite his unwillingness he knew full well there wouldn't be any of the carefree low rank missions that inhabited the cannon world. In NCC the minimum age for a genin in Kumogakure was 15, and they were treated as military conscripts. Naturally the intention was refining actual soldiers and not just using them as fodder. So genin in Kumogakure were often sent on scouting and probing missions. These missions were typically very straight forward, most of the time there wouldn't even be an encounter. However the majority of the encounters ended up being skirmishes between similarly built Kirigakure squads.
The chances of him running directly into Sheddo were practically non-existent. Despite that there were plenty of other terrifying presences in that village, and Keisan couldn't fight the apprehension caused by being a battle junkies subordinate in that killing field.
Probably my last chapter for a few Days, ill try to catch up when i get back. Also we still need an editor my phone typed chapters can be rather atrocious at times. Thanks for the support guys. ^_^
