Beginning

"It's maybe easy to enter this hall, but believe me, It is not as easy to leave it," said the Instructor with a crazed look flashing in his eyes before quickly being suppressed to it's usual calmness. None of the present younglings was able to spot this spontaneous reaction except the yellow haired young man.

"It is actually true. This guy is quiet the odd ball," he thought in his mind.

Before his father had registered for him to attend this course. He told him he would meet an interesting fellow inside. It would however be up to luck if he is able to witness his eccentric side.

The Instructor waved his hand and said, "Group toghter. Go stand beside that fellow over there," while pointing at Lin Fan's direction.

They quickly moved to Lin Fan side without delay.

The Instructor then put his hand behind his back and stood with a dignified manner before starting to speak.

"All of you probably have different train of thoughts right now. Different questions are currently flooding the mind of at least most of you five,"

He then pointed at himself with a serene smile and said, "But let me introduce my self first. I am Vrandum Fred, your Instructor, and probably your worst nightmare for the next thirty minutes,"

Lin Fan and the rest couldn't help feel a shiver run down their spine, with the addition of the man's behind the gates wailing...it was terrifying.

"Let me ask you all a question before explaining. Have any of you killed someone before?" asked Vrandum

Lin Fan felt his throat going dry, 'This is going bad, I have a bad premonition'

Unexpectedly the girl raised her voice and said something that stunned most of the people standing near her that caused them to take a step away from her.

"I have," said the girl coldly.

"Oh, how many?" asked Vrandum in interest.

"Lost count," said the girl with a smile that made it look like she was cracking a joke.

Vrandum stroked his beard and murmured, "If so...," His eyes suddenly dilated like that of a tiger as his killing intent gushed forth before sweeping the girl's body.

The girl felt like a savage beast was preying her. She quickly let out her own killing intent to counter the incoming onslaught.

Killing Intent that is released by a cultivator is lethal, if It is way more than what the target could handle he would directly turn into a lifeless corpse.

As she felt the killing intent land on her, sweat trailed down her cheeks, 'This is unbearable,' she though.

However, fortunately Vrandum ceased his onslaught before saying amusingly, "68. That's the number of people you've killed. You can continue from there. Don't lose count again young lady, It's still way too early for that," with an unusual smirk appearing on his middle aged face.

The girl coudn't help but think "freak!" to herself

"What's your name?" asked Vrandum

The young girl looked at Vrandum with fear in her eyes, she was gasping for breath. She replied with difficulty, "Emily. Emily Kendle,"

"Emily..I'll remember your name. Staying here is pointless for you, I hereby announce that you have passed this course. You are free to leave," said Vrandum as he waved his hand and the door that was once shut, opened.

As the boys looked at the leaving Emily they couldn't help but feel a layer of sweat surround their bodies.

Vrandum looked at theim and said, "Don't worry, special people need special methods to be dealt with. For you, bunch of chickens, It won't be that extreme,"

Lin Fan could feel tears of joy covering his face as he thought, "Bro! Thank god I am a chicken for now,"

"Let me say this bluntly, this course is about killing. The moment of the first kill is the worst feeling a human could experience, and experiencing it in battle is even worse. Death would be waiting for you at your doorstep. Countless geniuses had died because of such a reason. If you are able to eliminate that possibilty. Then that would be for the best. Participating in this course and not participating could be the difference between life and death for you all," said Vrandum with hands behind his back as he calmly explained.

"We will start then. Who would like to go first?" asked Vrandum as he looked at them.

None of the boys spoke up, and akward silence filled the hall.

The yellow haired young man was the one to break the silence, "I would like to give it a shot,"

Vrandum looked at the young man and nodded before saying, "Bring him in!"

After which the black gate that was standing tall at the halls corner was opened and two people came out of it. They were holding a man who was chained up from head to toe. As the man struggled to break free, he shouted, "Let me go! Let me go, I beg of you," snot and tears streamed down his face as he begged.

Lin Fan stood there, jaw dropped in astonishment at what was about to unfold.
