He had me pinned against the wall, our breaths mixed as he stared down at my lips, then I got a whiff of it, his breath, he'd been smoking again.
"Seth, you promised"
"What?" he was caught off guard and his grip loosened.
"You promised you'd quit smoking, it isn't good for you"
He backed away, freeing me from his hold, "We've been through this Quinn, I-I have barely a year to lkve, what does it matter if I smoke a little? it isn't hurting any more than it already has"
"I told you not to say things like that, why do you always make this about you, what about me and how worried I feel each time you're like this?"
"I'm fine Quinn, really" he took my hand, "You don't have to worry about me, I know I don't have much time left and I've learned to accept that, because of you."
He stroked the little strands of hair behind my ears, "Trust me, you'll live a long, happy life, for the both of us and you'll have cute little kids that look just like you, with your button nose and beautiful eyes", tears welled up in my eyes as he spoke.
It almost felt like if he kept talking, I wouldn't live much longer.
So I kissed him, as hard as I could, as passionately as I could and he kissed me back, wrapping his arms around me as our tongues twirled together.
This feeling right here was all I ever wanted to feel.
