शतपञ्च प्रतिद्वन्द्वी मातुलपुत्राः पाण्डवाः कौरवाः च, कुरुक्षेत्रयुद्धे सिंहासनस्य वास्तविकं उत्तराधिकारिणः इति विश्वासं कृत्वा युद्धं कृतवन्तः Hundred and five rival cousins the Pandavas and the Kauravas, fought in Kurukshetra battle for the throne, believing they are the actual heirs of the throne.
