Earth... at some point in the future.

The day Earth's population reached twelve billion people, the Virus was released. An engineered plague designed by a secret organization, its purpose was to curb population growth until the human race developed the ability to expand into outer space.

It did not work as intended. Instead the virus ravaged out of control directly killing off ninety percent of the human population. Many major governments collapse under the influence of power hungry warlords.

Now several centuries later, Kerensa is born in the Kingdom of Locus, a member of the New European Union which governs the various individual nations scattered across the continent. All she wants is a simple, carefree life.

But obtaining her carefree life is more difficult than it seems. Born the fourth child of the prideful and vindictive Fors family, the only way for Kerensa to truly leave is to obtain enough power to stand against them.

Her first step is to join a magic school.
