I like the 2k words, this chapter felt nice. Though, I’m definitely the one who made the comment about the number of chapters and ‘x’ not happening 😂 I’ll start by saying definitely don’t take that completely to heart. Many comments, especially mine, are reactionary to what we just read. I was just having a feeling of disappointment in the MC after reading to that point just for him to still get rubbed into the dirt publicly 😩 how it played out just personally made me feel meh about the MC. I agree there hasn’t been filler and I see your point. Though as a reader on WebNovel who is unlocking chapter by chapter, usually you can’t completely disregard the connection between progression and chapter count either, given the format. Though the following chapter made me more excited about the character, so I’m glad I kept reading🤷‍♂️
