Hmmm she does bring a good question. We dont really know what separated Ludwigs start from the rest of the Apostles when they started. Perhaps its simply that his undead nature set him apart from the onset. Or maybe its the fact that out of all the apostles that we know of, he has actually continued to get results time after time and not always relied on Necros's blessing to pave the way for him as much as others. Perhaps hes just built different mentally or just more lucky. Maybe they felt they were backed into a corner and were truly unlucky through no fault of their own which would be sad but at the end of the day, each apostle chose to turn away. Maybe they could have asked for help and simply brought the issue to Necros and worked to solve the problem. Maybe they relied to much on Necros to do everything and became lazy servants. Who knows?
Yeah this just goes to show the influence of sloth here pretty well. its so insidious that you dont even know you've been asleep till you wake up. Sloth is knowing g you need to do something but you put it off anyway. The ultimate procrastination deluded into thinking your "overly cautious" or "its in someone else department or problem".
Lol a sore loser. He loves to have these little trials and dangle legendary gear in front of desperate climbers and now is mad that someone outsmarted him and actually succeeded. And now he spent millions of a all powerfull currency, literally moving heaven and earth to bend the tower to his will, just to get back on a petty grudge on a random dude who completed the trial he made. And then he tries to act unbothered when faced with rightful ridicule when others see how petty and childish it is. I would laugh at him too its so pathetic.
Its funny that in any other anime show or cardboard cutout npc main character it would probably go like this instead of trying to meet up with people first: Ludwig would immediately go into berserk wrath seeing the injustice and cruelty of this, completely going to a rage and destroying the temple in an eruption from below as ludwig goes giant, this would force the holy order to attack ludwig and ludwig would destroy everyone, even the potentially innocent. This draws all the holy order, including mot and titania to try and subdue ludwig and ludwig almost kills them but regains lucidity just at the right time to go back into human. Titania will damen and threaten answers, Ludwig will give vague unclear responses and misunderstandings will ensue to the point of idoicy where Ludwig might be forced to kill everyone. Then, either Clementine or someone else will come clean at the last second, where titania will be so emotionally destoryed that she loses her powers or some bs and ludwig finally regains his sensible brain to fully explain whats happening like a normal person. Clementine and the shrike try to rationalize, talk no justu, bs their way to make it seem ludwig is a dark magic user, servent of necros, the real enemy blah blah blah....ludwig after having already been full throttle will be weakened and struggle to fight will get a timely assistance from his allies and with the power of friendship they beat the bad guys and kill the skrike once and for all while the church sees the error of its corruption and is now cleansed of sin and the hero goes escapes and goes into hidning waiting to come back as a antagonist in the future. In a after cutscense sloth goes full Thanos mode, and opens a eye and is all "fine ill do it myself" and starts off the invasion or something. Maybe im wrong but I feel like I got the general gist of where the predictable plot would go.
Bro how badly did you mess up that you made someone inherently true neutral to the extreme like Necros shaking mad. Like ...at best....the punishment is eternal damnation and torture. Completely deserved Ludwig crashout.
Yeah thats definitely true. This is actually a good chance to maybe talk about Kaels stunted emotional state right now. Because up until now, he was basically held back from expressing himself because he was thrown from the craziness of the 1st floor amd then straight into a, granted compressed and time skipped, entire training arc with now a life or death master diciple pact with no real decompression ever since. I for sure get the need to de- stress but how does he feel about his ex? Does he feel guilty about moving on and rebounding like this? Does he not have any alarm bells ringing on this random girl? Like sure its a women and shes in a rough spot but I sorta have to argue with the other climbers that sure we need more then yourself to clear the floor but hes going above and beyond to help this person with questionable motives and history. I mean id probably crack in the end but if I went through what Kael did so far, I wouldnt be so ready to open myself like that.
Ah well despite his master best attempts Kael is still human. And when a women basically throws herself on top of a guy, he will probably crack. But heres the thing, is this any more then a causal thing brought by conveince? Or will Kael now be emotionally blackmailed in this honey trap if she turns to be traitor? The tower is unforgiving and its climbers must be the same. In short, Kael has gotten incredibly complacent to do this in the middle of a hostile part of the tower. Like sure you dont have to be a celibate monk and your way overpowered for this level maybe but this is taking the tower to lightly I feel. Bro has grown physically but logically hes a bit retarded it seems right now.
Lol Hiro has the most massive grudge agaisnt Ludwig but Ludwig hasn't even thought about Hiro even once. Bro that must be so scarring to him that im getting getting second hand embarrassment just for thinking of it.
I like the change in Ludwig familiarity with Death. Hes speaking to a god is almost to casual borderline insulting to the personification of the concept of the end. But Death allows this, and only goes so far as to gently point it out in one idle comment. Any other god would demand respect and maybe even punish, but maybe death understands that Ludwigs, a mortal soul, carrying multiple aspect of God's himself. Personality shifts would be expected given such a load on a mortal soul and now that i think about it, 1 sin is to much for a mortal, now that Ludwig has 3x that and plans to get them all, just how much weight can he carry? And what will happen once he has them all? #4 it the crest of the mountain before we go down hill into the finish line, the end game to me is starting to raise in my mind now from the beginning of the story. Is it even possible for someone to hold all 7? What does that mean? Will they just be sealed away, and ludwig cast aside now that he no longer serves a purpose to necros? Will the eternal concepts of the sins of existence be to much for him to bear and he somehow becomes an unholy amalgamation of all of them?
Now for the speedrun attempt. Problem is, going back took 90% of his souls, so if he goes back does that mean his loses that 90% and this can only be a 1 time attempt? And its actually interesting to note, that so far, no usurper has gone the route that Sloth has yet. Wrath tried but was stopped before he could do anything, Envy was also stoped before a War broke out, Lust seemed to be to self absorbed in her own thing to really care and same goes for Gluttony and Pride, Sloth is the only one to be fully realized and buildup enough forces to start his invasion. This is like if Wrath won AND then got to turtle for the late game. No wonder things immediatly collapsed.
