Not really. He would never assume she would eat all of those lunches herself, just that there was no specific foods requested so she chose what she thought taste good.

I think it’s because her parents might suffer as a result of moving out that she’s hesitant. Also, she didn’t realize it has been leaving a psychological shadow on the kids.

It doesn’t seem like it will continue to update as the ending is extremely rushed. Other than that, I really love this book. Hope it continues.
