Review Detail of GodOfLightning in Essence of a Viking [Custom CYOA]

Ya so the author decided that the mc doesn’t want to be king but can’t find any reasons for it almost like he is trying to keep the plot as similar to canon as possible which is mostly true as well as he has an intrest in lagetha but refuses to go after her until the other women shows up and she loses verything. He also has a huge intrest in lagetha even after acknowledging she was to arrogant etc. he is also trying to make her out to being one of the best warriors they have when she isn’t even close. In the show she was only good not great at combat as were any shield maidens. Also when a lot of people pointed out that he wants to conquer the world but in his brothers name and his brothers descendents and how they didn’t like that instead of giving reasons asked why he should. When I did tell him why he told me “go away Mufasa” I can now see why so many dropped it as I was looking forward to his stories but from them it seems he hates making his MCs king in medieval eras for no reason.
