Chapter 25 made me lose any enthusiasm to continue reading. It just felt so contrived how everything was against him killing Shiden and gaining a powerful ability. From numerous random circumstances to Shiden's apparent immunity to his mind powers and the foreshadowing of his great mistake by leaving them alive made for an incredibly frustrating and demoralizing read. Instead of feeling realistic, it felt unrealistically against the MC. His momentum was killed, he was unable to obtain a skill that was actually interesting, and now we have to watch as those hunters he could have killed otherwise become stronger than him. Talk about demoralizing, and then you have to pay for chapters. And the story and power system are very uninteresting.

I've always wondered whether that foreshadowing was a bad decision, now I know it indeed was. And I have edited it for now and do plan to edit it once more when I go through the whole volume editing. Next, you say that it is unrealistic but it is explained in detail later on why Shiden and the rest are the way they are. And if you feel as if the mc was set up from all sides not to be able to harm Shiden, that makes me happy that what I intended appeared onto the screen how it was supposed to. SPOILER ALERT. Because as explained in chapter 120, that is how it is supposed to be. I like to believe that what I have planned out are all reasonable events but if you are gonna say its Sheet at the first chance mc gets a setback, idk what to say. Another point, yes, it is paywalled since writing is just as much a job for me as it is a passion. I do wish to post my novels for free but then ill have to go hungry. Um, and third, there are a lot of power systems in this novel and you have just reached 30 some chapters upon this review. I dont think you are supposed to judge a power system (which there is 2 already in the novel) this quick. I kind of see what you said as a praise from one side since it is a setup for the reveal later down the line, but yeah, if it bores you, please drop the novel and find your own jam elsewhere. And this wasn't written like a novel where u can know what will happen in the next 100 chapters by reading 5 chaps. This novel's puzzles would all only click when u finish an entire volume. So, saying a picture is stupid while only looking at one end of it is stupid—in my very non-humble opinion at least.

You are the author, you can say it was divine intervention and it would be canon. To a new reader like me, all I see is an author who purposely fks over their Mc by putting them in unreasonable situations and an Mc that fails to live up to expectations. You can say it gets explained later, but which author doesn't say that? I would believe you if there were adequate foreshadowing but all I got was that he would regret his decisions in the future. Also, my problem wasn't that there is a paywall but where it is placed. I believe it unfavorable for the story to introduce its paywall when this is the impression a reader would have at this point of the story. Without that elusive future context, the scenario is just too forced and frustrating. Last thing, the tags 'overpowered', 'fast paced', and the 'strong to stronger' statement that I started reading this for have not fit this novel at all so far.

Shiden is basically a Son of Heaven and there was enough foreshadowing. For one, he was the center of attention of the world even while being a normal kid. He gained an A-rank Hunter as a master by luck. He had two close friends awakening with high potential along with him. And more than that, he had an incredible ability matched by none. Foreshadowing enough to know that this mf is a Son of Luck. It is just that you cant notice foreshadowing until its revealed and you, my bro, didn't wait till the reveal because you just want the mc to keep winning like its some hacked game. I liked how it was done and I believe it was Well done. If a Son of Heaven protagonist of the Hunter World was handled easily by Mark, i'd find THAT irritating. Because at that point, Mark wasn't that strong among even normal demons his tier. I am on the author's side on this one.
