The worst thing is that every stupid action he tries to justify with some "scheming" plan that is incredibly stupid. As if that were not enough, he has an incredible plot armor (find Shiki in just a couple of days), and although he can steal fruits, he only steals from secondary characters, losing many opportunities to obtain good devil fruits. Other than the above, the story is pretty fun, and the writing style is enjoyable, so if the author would stop being a fanboy it could be pretty good.
