If you don't like this one, you can use the Mage system from 1 to 9, it's powerful and has a huge lifespan. As for the world and character development, there's nothing to say, it's Lord of the Rings, the character itself is not very interesting, but as it's in the beginning it's normal, the author still needs to develop him more.
