Godoflightning...I really understand you point of view but first let me start of with first of all she has a talent for swords, it's not like I'm saying that she could just beat anyone for she has the natural intuition for swords but she is being trained by the best the veldora family has to offer and the mc has not really fought with his all, he just does so with skill like just placing a limiter on himself if not he could easily beat her or anyone for that matter except maybe his uncle's and father secondly I don't see why you are hooked on all this but let me explain why I did her that way. I didn't want the mc to have a laid back wife with no Martial inclination, I did this in respect to the fact they will live a long life and go on adventures together which involves a lot that I'm adding to the plot, so yeah I'm creating an intelligent warrior queen better than the conquerors sister wife as she will very active in the plot. so know this, I'm not looking at muscle or body mass to be able to fight men in armor as the swords she will wield will cut through armor like it's butter or have you forgotten his rune knowledge wish and valyrian steel, and as for the fact she uses two swords bro again talent comes into play along proper training or are you saying only men can have such level of talent or push through such training [img=thinking]

Yes yes I am saying only men can do it because like I said you may fix her strength and all but unless she is going to be a jacked up 6’9 person it won’t help with anything because like I said women do not have broad enough shoulders I can see why you did what you did it’s just unrealistic and no one at this time or in Valyria would accept it. At this time having a women do anything a man would do like diplomacy or fighting is not a good thing as it challenges the norm of the world as you see with the response brienne of Tarth got. And we do have basis for the fact women are not as good as men with weilding a sword no matter what their talents is you see it in Scandinavia or Vikings with their women sometimes fighting. Never were they able to compete with the men except for certain circumstances like the best of the women warriors against men with no training like the maonistaries or a village boy with no training. Now this isn’t sexism it’s just unrealistic same with women having the same drive to fight as men’s hormones are a big reason for that as well as their training. She would also need to way quite a bit more meaning she would need to put on fat as women do not way as much as man but any fat she puts on hurts her fighting as much as the advantage of having that weight so you aren’t being thrown around. The reason I always have a problem with this and many other people do to from other books I’ve read and seen similar comments and all that is we like to immerse our selves into the character and love the time period setting which you are ruining with modern ideals. So while I agree she could be a warrior and maybe with the enhancements you give her fight against some regular trained men no way would she be able to fight the nobles as they grew up training to fight. Also a lot of people don’t want a warrior women as their wife. And my last problem with it is her periods would have a huge effect on her making her miss a battle or 1 to 3 training days monthly having a huge effect on her training time. So ya it all really comes down to anatomy as my reason as I’ve studied a lot of this because I love history and also wanted to look at the female warriors after reading about shieldmaidens in Norse culture. I’d love to see your response to this and hope we can keep the civilized debate going very rarely do I see authors not flip out to any response that isn’t 100 percent positive and you do have a great story other than that one small part. I also just remembered at this time period as well a few cultures do allow women to train but only for self defense because you have to remeber women are married off to another family or branch of the family at this time so training them is a waste of resources and giving another fighter to another house.
