One of those few stories that are really fun to read. Often times I just hate the protagonists in the stories. They are face-slapping overbearing and just as arrogant as the young masters. Often times their behavior when taken from the perspective of a third party is no different from the young master villains. In this particular story we have the young master villain who is able to get ahead of the 'protagonist' world main character, and is able to rouse the 'MC' into acting like the novel villain. The young master villain MC of this story steels the heroines, like other villain novels, yet he uses a more benign approach. He uses his advantages appropriately and avoids the pitfalls that the usual novel villains fall in with the world protagonist, which is usually the use of force or family connections to suppress the hero. I especially like the event where he goes and finds the hero's special encounter to get a lost medical technique and then memorizes it and takes a few key pages while leaving an incomplete version for the hero to find. The hero still finds the technique but does not realize that it is missing a few key pieces of information that would allow him to practice it safely. This ends up causing the hero long term problems and even impacts others of the world heros.

Not certain where you are going with your comment. If you are suggesting that I would regret commenting on various stories, then all I can say is nope, nadda, ect... As for opinions, everyone has them, and I for one know that I have every right to share mine. Of course we do have people that try to suppress or distort reality by changing the narrative on what is real, or even by redefining concepts.

I didn't tell you that you weren't not allowed to share your opinion. I told you that you should always consider the potential of a read when you start reading. I only meant that you will regret giving and having good opinions on this book. I can bet you will be bored in perhaps ch 100.

I mean I didn't tell you the second sentence but that's what I meant simply think about the novel carefully before having good opinions of it.

I understand, personally my review is specific to when I wrote it. Even so I could see liking the story at least as it is on the projection that it is taking. On the other hand there are a lot of stories that I end up liking for between 100-500 chapters and then drop it in disgust. Usually happens because of the Chinese racism, but even so I do not necessarily regret reading them up to that point.

To be fair I am kind of disgusted by this novel as I have read a far better version of it. This genre may be new to you but not me. But later I gave up. why? Because every single protoganist has to find problems with MC one way or another. It's like they are programmed NPC. Then comes the female leads. Their love for MC makes me cringe. But the story does have a variety of love stories with a variety of woman.

I understand your complaint, and I probably would have been with you on it as well. It is just that I enjoyed a few of the interactions more than I would have normally. Probably mainly the situation where the MC snags one of the 'Chosen Ones' opportunists but decides to leave it there while removing the evidence of him being there while also corrupting that opportunity in such a way that the 'Chosen One' is not able to detect it. I just found the MC in the story a bit smarter or maybe craftier than those in similar situations.
