Below average. It's like '80 Years Of Signing-In At The Cold Palace, I Am Unrivalled'. Where mc has no ambition and just helps his sect or family & 'descendants'(actually his brother's descendants). He's the real crown prince but never really does anything about it despite already knowing . And also thinking that there's few options for him, either being an ascetic and being the guard of the sect or leaving for the cultivation/martial holy land or something
Let me laugh

ถูกใจbro how did you miss it? He had kids with the female guard he saved. Did you just flip through the pages and not read it? I read it with mtl months before it was released on here and I know the story better than you
mujaki2:yep first prince is Mc swapped at birth then ch 26 he magically has a son to swap with the seventh princes son.plenty of mental gymnastics and yes sub par.
You took me literally ?!??I got that part too, I'm just saying that it's contrived what he went thru to swap in the guards son-his own kid-with the fake heir who happened to be brain damaged anyway.. "magically"

oh well the child wasn't magically brain damaged. From what I remember it was poisoning, but I don't remember who poisoned him exactly 🤔

You've helped me realize that I use sarcasm entirely too much. By magically I meant a sarcastic "conveniently"It really bothered me that despite how much power MC has, the child's brain was unrecoverable. Doomed by poison to be eternally brain damaged.

I completely agree with your view when I was first reading that section of the novel. Also yeah I was confused at first lol I did figure it out after I posted but I still wanted to say what I said so I just left it. also I don't mean to spoil but I might I guess I will anyways so avoid if you don't want a spoiler but it's not eternal his brain can get better and maybe it will... but anyways

Thanks for that actually. That was one of my two main gripes with the story. It's not a spoiler for me to ask, have you enjoyed the story as it progressed?Maybe I could give it another chance if it doesn't stay in my disappointed list.

I'd say give it a chance it does take a long time for him to get his brain back but in general that part of the plot is just a very small portion of the greater plot.

Fredy_89:he does has an ambition which is to become an immortal to live forever.
forgettableBuddha:Misleading review. The (first) descendant is mc’s son. Also mc is not interested in being the emperor, he just wants to become an immortal.
