about romance I'm not sure, which character should i go with? but it'll start in the 3rd year, before that characters bonding and story's plot will be the main focus.

In the end it’s your choice, but I would like daphne to be the LI. There aren’t a lot of girls in the HP verse, and hermoine is annoying imo

In HP most girl are not so good except Tonks or Fleur. You could either make a SI like Daphne or use those two but please not Hermione, i hate those FICS that entirely change Hermione and then make her the LI they just take her for her Emma Watson appearance
