The main character is weak and pathetic, reading this novel makes me angry, as I expected some sort of revelation or change that would lead to him making better more rational decisions, but he never does.

ถูกใจFrona_Gorgophone:Fumu-fumu. I get the feeling. You have to be patient to be able to stand reading this kind of story, after all! How much have you read if I may know?
JRCaste:I love how positive you are and your response, Can I know if the novel is going to be harem?
I've been in this community long enough not to trust the tags, plus it's very vague topic, it's either going to be a pseudo harem or true harem.
horrendous_potato:Its clearly marked in the tags that it is

weak in mentality too? i haven't read the novel but from all the reviews i have read, it seems the main character never really grew up from the trauma and inferiority complex inflicted on him during his previous life. if that is so reading this wd be a waste of time. after all a demon lord is a king, and a king needs to be intelligent in his decisions as his decisions may cause people's lives
Death_Code:the tags says #weaktostrong ofc he starts weak haha

This work of mine emphasizes character development. Most of the reviews were written by people who didn't last past 60 chapters. That is like around 100K words more or less. Layland has changed by the time he comes out of the castle.I mean, realistically speaking, it is quite a feat to grow out of an inferiority complex. Layland is but a young man. Even some adults don't ever grow out of their complex. But Layland will and he has!

Ahhh I see. Well, just some advice, if you are writing another novel, don't make the character look a "weak in mentality" in the first few chapters. I truly do understand your need to make the character lower than average to make a character growth that makes the readers "feel" a character growth. But people don't want to read a realistic growth, but a fantastical growth. An "impossible" growth. Same goes for me. I don't really want to read 60 chapters where the MC is a king and still fail to take rational and strong decisions. Growing out of an inferiority complex is impossibly hard, yes you are right, but it is only in real life. Why do people watch marvel movies? Can people invent a machine that makes us fly and talking AI that express emotions? No. We want to watch impossibility. Just some advice.

That is correct. I was highly idealistic when I decided to write this work, but I don't regret it. I have long accepted this one is not for everyone. Thanks for visiting, tho✌🏻I hope you'll be one of my readers if write another work. Of course after finishing this one😂
