i've actually tried reading on qidian after translating but I don't get decent translations and it's expensive on qidian.They have very decent books on there but idk why they aren't released on webnovel

it is not like there is no gems on this website. the problem is that the community got corrupted with these fast food novels. while the gems are hidden in the deepest corners. so unless you search for them intentionally, you will most likely not find them. after four years of continuous digging and searching i ended up with less than thirty novels that I completed or still reading. anyway you can enter my profile and see the three list for yourself (I really recommend the "finished" list). I would love to know your best novels that are unique and has depth to them.

Well, then you should check site like Royalroad or scribblehub instead since they often have at least 60~80% good/quality novel there (at least in the popular/top rank list, unlike webnovel trashy one that even most of their tops list are still trash).
