As the author, I'll leave the first review ever. I think it's awesome. I like it. Really, I do. I am having fun writing this and I enjoy and laugh as I write it. I like my own work. I now that sounds narcissistic but it is what it is. Anyway, I only placed this review to help me get the necessary 10 reviews so that it will display stuff. As for what I can say about this story: It won't be a generic MC 'fighting' his way and overcoming his enemies through sudden power-ups and cliché things. The story and journey itself would be unique. it won't be an MC traveling from one place to another, finding trouble, and beating baddies. It'll be complicated. It'll be weird. Since I'm weird.

Rapture_Tales:didn't see this comment. I already replied on one of your comments in the paragraph. But anyway, just to reiterate, there is a difference between how the term evolved in pop culture in contrast to its original meaning. I think nephalem comes generally from the Diablo lore or whatever term most games render it. But i'm using the hebrew origin. which is in the bible. In the bible, there are no pure angel half breeds but only the fallen angel half breeds as seen in Genesis 6. The Nephilim in the bible are mighty warriors. In fact, Goliath (david vs. goliath bit) and other giants that appear in the bible are hinted to be nephilims. This becomes even more apparent since the translation of Nephilim into greek is "Gigantes" where of course, we get the word Giants. I think that the ethymology of Nephalem that you are describing are from games. And the reason why it's called nephalem because in Hebrew, Nephilim comes from the root word "Nefal" which means "fallen ones". The english transliteration of that word can become Nephilim or Nephalem. This is because, translating from one word to another will naturally bring out new pronunciations or spelling. Another example would be Belial which is spelled differently by different translators such as Be'lial, Belhor, Baalial, Beliar, Belias, Beliall, Beliel, etc... (all from the Hebrew word בְּלִיַּ֫עַל) Anyway, I think popculture has created newer descriptions of nephalem. But as for the origin of the word itself, which is in the bible, there are no such things as 'pure angel' hybrids. Of course that depends on how theologians interpret Genesis 6 whether the 'sons of God' are fallen or pure angel. My interpretation is a fallen, since there is one more mention about these hybrids specifically in the book of Jude in the New Testament. Jude 1:6 "And the angels who did not stay within their own position of authority, but left their proper dwelling, he has kept in eternal chains under gloomy darkness until the judgment of the great day—" TLDR; Nephalem, or pure angel hybrids are new inventions from recent games, like the Diablo series but the word itself which comes from the bible is genrally translated as Nephilim
Oops! I replied to myself. heres the reply again. No. Not harem. MC can be ruthless, but only on a more mainstream "righteous guy ruthless type" He is a hero and won't be the anti-hero guys like in New Game+ Spare female enemies- probably. I'm a Pantser writer. In my other book, I never intended the character Alean to be a good person when I first wrote her. Same with Harker. on the latest chapters both have a more important position in the story Pretty female companions- Yes. But just as with above... I don't have a set plot points for this story. I started writing this March 31st when I found out there would be a new Spirity contest and wrote it without any other plot ideas whatsoever. Everything from chapter 1 to the latest was me writing by the seat of my pants. Multiple point of views- No. Unlike the other book which is set to see the rise of various nations and the schemes of certain characters, whether good or bad. similar to Game of Thrones/ Song of Fire and Ice, this book will be rather simple. Although there would be some chapters that focus on the point of views of other characters it won't be like a volume-long thing in New Game+

Well, its not technically a mainstream hero type. Kind of hard to explain. He just aint an anti hero. Give this story a try if you like 4th wall breaking moments though.

Hello author-nim. I am at chapter 2 and I must say, I am very attracted to the theme of the novel and I will definitely love it. But I have a question, shouldn't there be a discord server for the novel for us readers to discuss and chat with the author? 90% of the Original novels have discord servers, so if you do have one, please write the permanent invite link in the Synopsis. Thanks a lot :)
In death and me they don’t have a bunch of female companions so I don’t get the reference your trying to make ?

Aah author please don’t change it. One of the reason I started reading this novel was because you said it was not harem(so 1 wife, no concubine, no lovers etc). I hope it stays that way and the mc has one wife(mechiel)
