Quick question has custom made demon king been dropped? Anyways this novel is pretty good. The story is kind of like Saw and Death Note mixed together.

Evelcior:I checked the mtl and the mtl has 500+ chapters so I guess its been dropped
Yeah ur right I read it wrong it had 541 chapters with author notices. The number of actual chapters is 489
Matrixkrock:Not dropped. the author just have a bad habit of going hiatus on regular intervals. The same issue happens with god of games.

There is no such thing like foreign IP. We primitive westerners aren't even put in their laws. They can copy those things without consequences as long they don't have deals with international companies. It's basically legal in their country and you cannot do much about it. Sue them? Good luck. They won't ever leave their country and Chinese courts have no business in bringing justice to foreigners. Deal with it.
BobKenton:the main problem I had with that novel is that WN put it next to the other original novels and not the fanfic section just because it was translated. Also that the og characters of the DMC and Bayonetta arc felt kind of bland and stood too long.
Umm ok... The only reason I didn't like it was because it kept the sections unorganized so it always irked me seeing a fanfic in the original section... Are you a hate on china/WN user that just blindly blames everything on them?? because I'm pretty sure you're reply isn't really related to mine. Other people can create fanfics also not just the Chinese so I don't know why you act as if Chinese laws are the only ones that allow their people to write fanfic.

Man. It's truth. It's mostly about authors in China not users on WN.(Author of custom made demon king for example) They basically steal IP from western authors. Custom made demon king, entire infinity genre novels. Multiple novels basing on diablo, wow or other universes without consent or disclaimer. There is many articles on internet about their IP problems. It is getting better but it will take another decade or so to put them on civilized level. They won't put their own property which they are translating into fanfic section... Do some research and prove I am wrong next time... We cannot commercialize someone's property but they can? Something is wrong. If you think its other way... I am have no more words for you.

I can literally make a fanfic and put up a patreon to make money off it right now. If you're talking about stealing ideas, business models or trade secrets then it really does sound like you're pushing an agenda since again, THEY ARE UNRELATED. Are talking about selling the novel? Since that's easy just change some things from the original source, it's been done in the western market like 50 shades of Grey. I don't think I've heard any form of media other than novels Chinese or otherwise that used other people's ips without permission.
