Cliche. If I had to think of a word to describe the story its cliche. The mc isn't very likeable. The writing quality wasn't bad but the word choice feels awkward and disjointed. Nothing really grabbed me about the story. Mostly the story tired me out fast.

It's my opinion so don't take it too seriously. It's a hard quality to describe. It's the feeling you get of wanting the MC to succeed or the feeling of picturing you doing what the mc would do. I can't describe it better than that.
