First of all the synopsis isn't accurate, and that's pretty amazing since it's two sentences. If you read expecting an mc who will do whatever it takes to rule or take over the world then you will be massively disappointed, the mc doesn't really do whatever it takes to take over the world since he stops his plans involving the heroes just because a girl he likes is now also a hero; also he's doesn't even seem remotely ready to sacrifice everything for the sake of his goals. The last thing is that despite his kindness getting him killed in his last life and his promise to not repeat being kind he still is kind (to girls anyway since that's almost always the way with male mc's), he just now kills people when he's not apparently pretending to be a hero.
