Itachi attacks him for any reason and he dies. You will find there are no such fics. It’s either another Uchiha taking revenge, Itachi doesn’t leave at all or Itachi returns to Konoha.

I simply want one fic where Itachi is slain as an enemy. 1 fic where there is no grand plan. Itachi attacks the wrong guy and gets killed like any other Akatsuki member. Every damn fic worship Itachi.

Logically this is correct. I mean to get 2 six paths meat shield is the best protection. Sasuke is long term work. Naruto is one summon away. Just summon Kushina for a minute and Naruto would be you life long meat shield. Sasuke needs ground work.

Not really. There are a lot of ways he could justify it. Itachi and Kisame taking the attention off him is a good one. After all, nobody can confirm what happened and Anbu could validate the scene. But if he does go now then he will need to explain the teleportation jutsu which can and will cause suspicion

Sasuke

Sharingan isn’t that OP by itself. But a sharingan combined with Hashirama cells are. Mangekyou abilities aren’t normally so spammable. Even Itachi had to be conservative with using Mangekyou. And Shisui needed years to regain his Kotoamatsukami after each use. But Obito, Danzo and Madara were able to greatly improve efficiency by getting Hashirama daddy juices
