The husband gives betrothal gifts to the father in law?
I'm not really liking how cold and near evil he's become. I hope he gains a better mentality in the future
Did he forget that he forgot stuff too? He should be automatically assuming that it's someone he's forgotten
I bet Kyle just broke through
For some, that's very true. Many don't want power or control. It might be too much responsibility or just too much trouble. I just want a calm & peaceful life. So long as I make enough money for that then I'm happy. Unfortunately, between negative perception bias and media only showing negative things, the bad people tend to be the only ones you really see most of the time.
I wonder who else will be at that arena...
He's not allowed to use dangerous life threatening abilities that he can't control. Just because it's so powerful that it appears to be cheating doesn't mean that it's dangerous
I'd have attacked him with 10k and send the other 15k after the leader.
I really hope he dies horribly
Work on your math skills. It's closer to 8,000 to 1
Not quite. About 8000 to 1
Did they not listen to the description? Indiscriminate, uncontrollable, and always seriously injuries. He has such control that I feel like very few of his techniques would really match that description
He's going to be having 40,000 people at once. He should be facing all of them at once to practice
Shouldn't everyone else in the faction be training like that too? He might not make any mistakes, but they'll still be disqualified if one of the others do
I can't with this crap. A handful of chapters in and I just can't deal with the author's stupidity. Innocent & untrained kids died because the magi sat on their a**es instead of helping. They didn't help in order to weed out the unworthy because if they can't survive against wolves, that killed trained & battle-hardened mercenaries, then they're not good enough to become magi. The ones that survived proved their worth when most of them just hid and didn't do anything. I just can't deal with stupid idiots making up illogical crap like that
Including the kids that were saved by Adam and didn't do anything?
Courage doesn't block a wolf's jaw. Courage, without power to back it up, just gets you killed faster
Some of the trained and battle-hardened mercenaries died. They're untrained kids who've never been in a battle like that. I'm starting to think that the author is either a child or brain damaged
Yeah, seems like the author has kind of a messed up mentality about such things.
