This is amongst the best books I've read so far. So I'll attempt to describe it without any spoilers to the best of my ability. Starting with the Wirting itself, it's amazing, the fight scenes are by far the best I've read in a long while and the depth is amazing, every character is detailed, described impeccably and the small interactions and details add to the story. In terms of characters, by far one of the best Novels for a variety of characters each unique, fun to read about and having their own little quirks that define them. The whole Ravenstein family is by far one of the best settings ive read in a Novel whether its clans, guilds, families etc throughout different novels, the Ravensteins take the top spot in my opinion. Atticus himself has been amongst my favourite MCs due to his ruthless, no taking bullshit attitude and his intelligence combined with his overwhelming might. Another one of my favourites I'll briefly touch upon is Magnus, I cannot describe this character in any other away apart from one word, Aura, magnus is by far my favourite character and he is Aura Incarnate. In terms of the story as a whole, it's very intriguing so far, it's a little slow to get to the crux of the story, but it dosent devalue the novel at all considering Atticus's rate of growth and the Major Arcs throughout the novel are all vital and have been well written with some being unique. The concept as a whole is quite common but this novel executes the whole alien invader combined with other forces at play really well. The World itself is really well done, it has some unique Races unlike the typical only elves, dragon's, vampire etc which are great to learn about, and once you get into the chapters especially past chapter 900, you learn alot about the history of the World and the Races, I won't spoil it, but damn it's good. Overall this Novel is perfect, I have to say thanks Mr. Author you have created a masterpiece.🙏
Honestly I don't know where to start with this Novel, it's really well written, the power system is great, the characters are great each with their own unique personality, overall its just brilliant. I'm currently only 298 chapters in but this book brought me out of my slump in terms of Novels. I got to the point where I'd read everything I considered worth reading and couldn't find anything else, but this Novel hit the spot. To start with the Characters, each of them has quite a unique personality with specific traits that kind of define them as a person. Overall they're all done really impressively, each character being vastly different with even each relatively minor villain or antagonist having their own quirks. In terms of the Power System, so far it's brilliant, I won't go into so as not to spoil it, but it's done very well and its also quite simple which to my surprise made the power system and scaling characters alot easier and therefore I found it more enjoyable. In terms of the main character, so far he's been quite a fun MC to read about, he's not overly Heroic but still caring and yet he isn't outright good or outright evil in my opinion, a perfect balance for a character, I'm not really a big fan of the whole 'hiding your true power and living as an extra' trope, but I have to say the way it's portrayed in this novel far exceeded my expectations. For story development I find it to be a bit slow for my liking, however it dosent really bring the story down at all as the MCs power still grows at a fast pace, and so does his character providing some very well done character development.
honestly I don't even know how to describe how good this is but ill give it a go (200+ Chp in so far). First of all we have the power system, he's ridiculously overpowered which is something I personally enjoy in a story, however its still very balanced given his growth rate, whilst it's incredibly fast compared to others, it takes a good amount of chapters for him to get a major power up, ensuring the story isn't going by ridiculously fast. The actual different powers within the story are also done very well, there are multiple different ways of which are sources for a characters Strength and each individual can specialised in different fields. Secondly the characters are arguably the beat I've seen in a novel so far, they all have their own unique and discernable personality to the point where even a single line of speech is enough to know which of the main or supporting characters said it. It also gives an in depth understand about the background of most of the characters that are consistently in the story. The world building itself is brilliant, I wouldn't say the world is unique as the concept of the contients and races etc are something often used in many novels, however every novel manages to do it differently, and this one absolutely smashed it. Further into the story the concept of higher beings and who they actually are is very intriguing and also is done very well as far as I can see so far. The Mc is also amazing, might be one of my personal favourite mc's. Overall its a ridiculously good novel, every aspect is done brilliantly and the writing is phenomenal. Note: Tried my best not to spoil anything lol
Great novel so far, only 700 chapters in but the pacing is amazing, it's good that the pacing picks up a bit as you get further into the story. I'm not far enough into the story but from what I can tell its much deeper and more detailed then it seems at first (granted the power system is brilliant being more complex then most generic novels) but as you get deeper into the story you realise their is alot more to it than previously stated, it's a constant flush of new information and Powers the deeper you get leaving you intrigued and wanting to read more. Also as of chapter 704 Michael isn't bald :) iykyk
