Review mostly for FP, but read the first few chaps. Could use an editing pass, tenses change arbitrarilly, and many things seem over-the-top, to the point of it being immersion-breaking. Decent premise though, and can see what the author is going for. Just would benefit a lot from some polish.

I kinda don't miss the bodyguard duo. Like, they weren't annoying or anything, just they wore out their welcome? Like, this was a satisfying end to their involvement. Our new companion on the other hand... I dunno. We'll see.
