We’ll give him something else to feed on.” The voices continue, completely oblivious to my horror. I lie helpless, only able to listen as they throw around options, shaping me, deciding my fate. My heart—if I even have one—pounds in the emptiness. I can’t see, move, or speak. But in their hands, I’m becoming something, one twisted decision at a time.
