A really good translation, of a Chinese fiction. Very good grammar with excellent editing. Would go so far as to say it is the best translated Chinese fiction I have read.

Story progresses slowly, grammer is fine. Good politics are present.

I don't think it's bad but not good either. I think the basic idea had very good potential. But it's more of a story that has an OP MC who will conquer everything with little difficulty. I missed the good depth in the story, too like in the politics. However, it is worth reading if you want a story where the MC is revolutionary, strong (OP), kingdom building, strengthening the bloodlines, no real difficulties or complications.

Her brother does something very stupid and she "forces" her husband to bear the consequences. Either he possibly sacrifices one of his fighters ( uncle ) or he fights himself. The Velaryons have to learn their place.
