that's hard because it's an object and it could mean something like "constantly changing pattern" or that's what I get when you put the word as a description, so a word that can replace it depends on the meaning or intention behind the description. Anyway, Im still enjoy the novel, keep it up.

You are right, he is edgy and kills without hesitation, he also suggests that he is kinda crazy, it is strange that he suddenly decides on a well thought Revenge , i expected that sort of character development to come later .
