Amitabha fellow daoists, I'm currently only 23 chapters behind the most recent available chapter (625) and I have several criticisms but also commendations. Author has improved in building his characters from Astral Pet Store but the sidelining of some characters is kind of disappointing (Li Yuanzhong is deeply missed) though they are definitely never forgotten. Haotian definitely is forced through a lot and he's appreciated everywhere but by his family which is really annoying. I'd recommend this novel easily but do watch out as every character BUT Li Tiangang and his brain dead wife are enjoyable to read about. The world background is amazingly made and the fight scenes are quite a treat.

who's going to be able to teleport or sidestep 1km in an instant? I'm assuming his range of perception is the same as his range of attack in which case there's nothing wrong with maxing out magic attack power

The translation and the rate of updates for a book translation is kind of lackluster but god does the author excel in fleshing out the characters involved. Every character introduced has consistency and none of them are forgettable like other novels. It also helps that the concept is a new one I've never encountered before and I promise the main character becomes absurdly powerful after you're around 10% of the way in. Still, I wouldn't recommend it for those who want short and sweet reads as the novel's pacing is fairly slow but this is one of my favorites along with The Strongest Sword God in a Magic World

I'm pretty far ahead in the novel at around the 50% mark and no I don't think it happens any time soon because he is immortal in and of himself and each character is individualistic rather than dependent on the main character

There's pretty much only 2 scenarios that happen. 1: Fujin drops the equivalent of nuke in the sheer amount of explosive tags or 2: Fujin uses Fuin Battlefield and traps Orochimaru by taking over the barrier but maybe he just slides flying thunder god into the barrier to DP Orochimaru with Hiruzen

Raiga was about to have his entire bloodline wiped out if Fujin really went all out 💀
