It's different here. 1) He doesn't have a system. 2) He has a Mythical Zoan, yes, but he doesn't become brain dead. 3) He has left Straw Hats but has only met them twice, that too once for the battle against Aokiji to repay them for their help. The second time was when he rescued Robin as she wanted him to convey her message to them. 4) He left SHPs after Foxy's arc so it's kinda justified. He has no relations with them now and doesn't go out of his way to care for them. He only cares about his own and his crew's interests.

I did change the ending so stick around for that :)
