well i agree on that but he shouldn't lower himself to her level to gain her trust like allowing her to call him by his name if he was doing that to stay undercover he should use a fake name and buying her expensive stuff is also a bit odd if not extremely odd but like i said in my other reply i like the novel the story looks extremely promising but I didn't like the maid part at all mainly because i am sick of it every novel has that shit where they bring a useless girl and shower her with wealth and they are villain novels so i don't know how they help people if it doesn't benefit him also he is the young master and that mary looks like an idiot so it should be a lot easier to get information from her without building a connection with her like she's his friend

yesh but it's idiotic to kinda believe she would trust him just because he told her something and doesn't he know that he is a bastard child so wouldn't there be a chance that she's there to watch since he read novels before

the novel story is good and i like where it's going but i think i will drop because from what i sm seeing the main character is one of those idiot villain that treat their servents as if they are their friends and tell them thei crimes for some reason he is treating a maid as if she is his friend snd she has no use at all that's I'll drop because at this rate he'll probably simp for a woman or do one of those basic anime things where they let any girl talk sht to him so yeah i sm dropping it for now.

yesh this is definitely one of those shit where the main character is a hero not a villain please tell me it's not and that the mc isn't gonna keep that useless maid around and why does he even care about her.
