You're taking this way too seriously.
He's an eight-year-old child, and fears pushing the boundaries of what might be possible with his power. Plus, I'm not a great writer. I need some kind of issue to continue writing the story, bro. He can start giving himself money or whatever a bit later on.
It's basically just a form of reality warping, to oversimplify it.
Batman isn't even aware that Nuru is a metahuman. He's under the assumption that he's one of the few people who actually seems to naturally possess common sense, and given the fact that he's an eight-year-old kid he found in an alleyway, he's not going to just leave him there in the blistering cold...
Same, but just search up Blüdhaven and you'll probably find it on the DC Database wiki or something. The way I interpret the city is, basically, it's like Gotham City, but instead of having been really well-known, and filled with wealthy and stuff, it just has a similar level of crime without a rise and fall aspect to it because it never rose to prominence in the first place, if that makes any sense.
I gave a picture in one of the other comments you made. Also, one of your responses seemed to have gotten removed. Not really sure which one, though.
I'll think about it.
I suppose, if he were to have a family or something, then... maybe. Aside from that, I just feel really opposed to all the sharing secrets thing. It feels so incredibly unnecessary and doesn't really add anything to the story in my opinion, y'know? I've read a lot of stories, like, that have a gamer system or something, and they just straight-up tell other people about it not long after meeting them, and I'm just like... BRUH.
He's black.
