Maybe some of them should have been. Although this could be explained by multiple reasons as well. 1. Laplace's curse had been weakening for some time now at this point, thanks to Rudeus' efforts with Ruijerd. 2. The people of Sharia don't discriminate against demons to nearly the same degree as those of the Asura. Many demons attend the school and wouldn't be an uncommon sight in Sharia. 3. Timothy was actually from Sharia and attended the Magic Academy. 4. At least in my perspective, the adults of Buena village were never particularly afraid of Sylphy, but more so discriminated against her. The children would bully her as well but didn't necessarily seem afraid of her.

I'm planning to continue my break through the holiday season. Next chapter will likely release in the first week of the new year.

You'd probably get more out of this fanfic if you read the LN first. At this point the anime is *almost* caught up enough to avoid major spoilers, but still not quite yet.

Quick update for everyone: I've written about 1,000 words of the next chapter and to be honest, I really don't like what I have so far. I was actually planning on getting back to two chapters per week now that I have a little more spare time, but once again I'm running into the problem that lately I never feel like writing. When I try to force myself to write, I think the quality of my writing suffers. I'm going to take a week or two off writing and see if that helps me get over this block. I don't think I'll take as long as a break as I did last time, but I'll try to post updates occasionally to keep readers informed either way.

I was planning to post a chapter today, but I've come down with a headcold. Considering Thursday is Thanksgiving, I probably won't post until a week from today.

Not going to finish by tomorrow. Expect the next chapter on Thursday.

He stole a God tier detoxification scroll but never actually learned it b/c the incantation was as long as a dictionary and by the time he got back it was too late anyway. I'm not aware of him having learned King-tier healing magic, and regardless, it is assumed in this fanfic that he did not.
