Like we know using drugs is wrong and it will have long term affects on us but they still do that because it gives momentary satisfaction. Here also the mc thinks about people who betrayed him and he is consumed by the idea of revenge. Also didn't the angel promise that it will align with your ideas and actions. So he has very less option of refusing. Mostly it will be foolish to just send him to life for a mission he may or may not carry out. And she also type of challenged him weather he can even reach the required strength to be considered. So he weighted pros and cons and selected the most obvious choice. By the way thanks for being the first to comment on my novel.

i understand your logic, but i just wanted to say some things. You told karna made a sin by killing Abhimanyu, bro it's a war what do you expect. Do you know karna has 9 sons and 8 of them died in the kurukshetra war and arjuna killed 3 sons and bhima kills one son and nakula kills 2 sons and others were killed by the other important characters.
