While the concept of the Emperor raising Superman during the Unification Wars has a lot of potential, Chapter 9-13 suffers from severe power scaling issues that break the internal logic of both universes. First, a techno-barbarian warlord receiving enough energy from Khorne to match the Emperor pushes the boundaries of 40k lore. The Emperor is the Anathema to Chaos, his presence burns warp energy. A warlord relying purely on Khorne should be more vulnerable to the Emperor, who could use his psychic light to instantly sever that warp connection. Second, Malcador and Erda casually building a machine that perfectly replicates a yellow sun inside the Himalayan laboratory is a massive plot hole. If the nascent Imperium possesses star-level power generation during the resource-starved Unification era, they could easily weaponize it to vaporize the techno-barbarians, making the entire war unnecessary. Finally, having Superman easily one-shot a god-tier threat that the Emperor struggles with completely trivializes the Master of Mankind. It also ignores Superman's classic weaknesses. Khorne's blessings are fundamentally supernatural and metaphysical. Superman is a creature of pure physics and has no evolutionary resistance to magic or warp reality-warping. A warrior imbued with the raw, conceptual rage of a Chaos God should be a living nightmare for Superman to fight, not someone he can casually punch out. The Emperor is not a physical brawler who needs muscle-bound help. He is a psychic powerhouse who single-handedly defeated a massive shard of the Void Dragon (a physical god of reality) in ancient history using basic weapons. Making the Emperor look incompetent in his own era to turn Superman into an unstoppable hero removes all narrative tension. I hope to see the author re-balance the scaling in future chapters to make a more compelling story.

I really want to listen to this book but I had to drop it because the TTS (Text to Speech) keep getting frozen when it gets to a line that is written like so: > Hence I have to drop this book

Can you remove these signs “>” ? The text to speech get stuck every time it encounters it.

This is an amazing book. You should give it a chance and get it some traction. It’s an original story and the MC has 3 classes up until chapter 115 (Mage, Death priest & scholar) This is a refreshingly good story. No harem so far and the world building has depth to it.

This story started so well and turned into a really bad one. The MC was portrayed as a cautious and easygoing man who has a system that only needs him to perform easygoing tasks to get stronger. He actually do not need to expose himself to eventually become the strongest being. That is when everything changed. The whole cautious and manipulative MC was thrown out of the window for no reason. The MC keep exposing all of his different personas and abilities for no good reason. It became the old cliche Chinese story of unparalleled existence and dumbed it down

This story is refreshing and well written, I liked the fact that the author took elements from LOTM & HxH and used it to create his own system instead of the regular copy paste. The world building is on point it’s a book I recommend everyone should read. The MC himself is rational, and I just loved the storyline so far. Hope this story will get more traction.

It started really good with brand new ideas and it worked. The MC was rational and made some really good scientific discoveries using his system to make himself stronger. Then It all went downhill when the author started dabbling in harem. The story went from 5 stars to a 3 stars of a horny teenager whishlist of people I wanna f@ck in OP really fast. This is so disappointing because the story really had promise to it.

I loved this book. finally something else then a pirat/marine/government/antigovernment. The MC is nonchalant and only cares about traveling the seas to check into new locations. The storyline is so good. Really recommend reading this book

This book was written so well. I really liked the story. It is an excellent One Piece fan fiction :)
