Also, if you dont want to do that. This is just my opinion if you gonna rewrite. Add like a parallel universe story. You get me? Like the story of the plot change bcs u want to rewrite it. On another note, the previous setting or storyline before u rewrite it, you can end it with like time travel or something, so that the story connect.

What I mean is, when I see your novel from outside. Its like there is no update notice. Like a house that is not lit. Even tho, you rewrite, it doesn't count as an update and also your novel says its update 1yr ago. So it be better write onto a new novel, I mean like new website with same name. So it could boost your readers. Bcs it could add onto recommendation.
