genuinely feel like people who hate on this novel just don't read it. The first argument that I've seen is that the novel is a 'copy of TAPOV', which doesn't even make sense because they're barely similar other than being made from the same concept. The main characters are inherently different (different personalities, weapon usage, etc), The overall storyline is decently similar but that's basically the same for all novels of the same genre. basically what I'm trying to say is that other than some of the events that happened none of the things in TAPOV are that similar to this novel. The second off is that the 'MC is too cringe'. yeah these guys most likely didn't read that far into the novel. One of the main points is that the MC is trying to fix his personality, so... another point that I've seen on a comment is that 'The MC is weaker than a normal person but gets into a school of superhumans...', To be honest I've never actually read back however if I'm correct the dude was training A LOT, and was surviving the bullying of said superhumans, so I think it's sort of makes sense. I don't know where you got the 'weaker than a normal human' statement from. other than that there's another person saying 'It's just cringe', If this is cringe then quite literally nearly any other novel out there that's part of the fantasy genre is quite literally a book made for every edgy teenager who was 16 years old. along with that I think the novel actually takes a realistic approach on how a hunter society would work (unlike some other novels that I have seen, not saying TAPOV is bad, It just doesn't do it).

allow me to debunk some of the things that I have seen saying that this book is 'bad' 1 - "He forgave Cassie!" *First off, Cassie is quite literally the only reason that he had/has a 'master' with the trades that can also help him in battle as well. *also with all of the things Cassie has done I'd probably forgive her by now too, and plus later in the story it was even stated that by then Sunless still had pretty large suspicions, so... 2 - "Not being any sort of anti-hero." *Da fuq is this one? like it's not like he's going around bringing Justice to every part of the planet... I don't even know what you want me to say about this. 3 - "Accepting Shadow Bond too easily." *This one is also very stupid. from the second Shadow Bond fully activated bro was attempting to break it. *matter of fact until the third nightmare he quite literally had NO Clue except for maybe some things he learned about Weaver (Daemon of fate), so... 4 - "He's a simp!" *.... these people don't realize the beauty of some of these characters described in the novel. second off bro isn't even lusting, He just likes one character (Nephis) Who was, I don't know, there for him nearly his entire journey through the dream realm and even now! 5 - "He's too edgy." *I haven't actually seen this one but I very much expect some people to say this and to be honest, You have no reason to be stating this... *bro isn't even edgy of then his black clothing In some cases weapons. If anything he's more of a joyous dude. 6 - "the writing." *I am certainly not an expert author, barely an author myself, however if this isn't the best thing I've read on web novel then I don't know what is. *maybe I'm just biased because I've read some trash books but still, to me everything from the Lore to the updating stability is phenomenal! 7 - "He doesn't act as intelligent as in the first nightmare." *To be honest here I sort of agree but then I don't. *I mean I get what you're saying, He was far more of a joyous guy after the first nightmare, something that we technically did not expect but we were certainly not promised. *also after his first nightmare he was never really forced to take such extreme measures as he did beforehand so I also sort of understand the change in personality. 8 - "The author forgets about things." *a complaint that I have heard on Reddit if I remember correctly is that apparently, Sunny in the first couple of chapters was stated to live off of web novels, then a couple of hundred chapters later, when Effie ( Effle, Athena, I forgot which one ) told him a web novel-based joke, Sunless did not understand. *Now I don't really know what you're expecting... is this not a couple hundred chapters later? *Also other than this I haven't actually seen anything else that represents this example, so.... *also if every author actually paid attention to every little detail about their novel, then the standards for novels inside of this website and basically every other one would be MUCH, MUCH, HIGHER. and that's the response to all of the complaints I have seen. thank me later G3
