The novel gets more and more disappointing as it progresses. It had such a good foundation at the beginning. It was written so well… This is the problem with any conservation stories that fixate on morality and goodness to develop. It takes quiet a genius author to create an arc that successfully captures moral development in the context of the fantasy genre.

Can’t the MC at least try to pay attention to his life? Why is he constantly forgetting everything that’s important to him? Does the author hate MC? The novel is inconsistent. As a young man, the MC was foolish and shortsighted due to his humble upbringings. However, notwithstanding the MC‘s naïveté, the author allocated sufficient amount of visible growth to the MC’s intellectual and moral capacity. Why the endless forgetfulness and stupidity? The story doesn’t flow very well as a result. It’s a well written novel. The author just needs to make sense with the story. Thank you!

This story is fun. It is engagingly written. After nearly 4000 pages, it keeps going strong. Ignore the critics, complaining about repetition and lack of novelty. It’s far too common on this platform to see these comments. Fake novelty when it comes to cultivation novels is unnecessary and dumb. There are far too many books about cultivation in Chinese literature. By now, it’s next to impossible to have a novel approach to writing a cultivation novel. Those like me who like reading stories about cultivating immortality ask you, o wise critic, to turn your vitriol in any other random direction. After all, your comment will still be true. And, chances are this random novel you picked on is not as good as the one I’m defending. Thank you! Well worth reading! Don’t bother with those criticisms. There are shortcomings in this book. But, it is fond and entertaining. Thank you, author!!!
