The problem isn’t that she killed people I honestly couldn’t care less, the problem is she killed a likely significant number of people while actively trying to save as many as possible in increadibly dumb ways, I’m not asking for perfect mc’s, I’m just asking for someone with basic intelligence.

I know enough to fire a gun but I’m not trained in them nor do I own one, but the point is if you are searching ARMED individuals who may decide to attack you at any moment the people watching to make sure they can respond in time should not have their safeties on. The soldiers should have entered this situation prepared for a gunfight, and as they are more automaton than human in their actions they shouldn’t need to worry that much about being trigger happy or accidentally firing.
