I said start learning. Parents often even let four year old whisk together pancake batter or roll and cut out sugar cookies even before seven years old. People even include making salad as part of cooking. There is a reason culinary / cooking schools don't just teach you how to use a stove, but require you to know how to prepare salads, do knife cuts, etc.

I get that the semi-third person POV is a bit confusing, but it isn't entirely uncommon in lightnovel style novels, especially in the beastworld sub-genre. It does persist throughout the novel with multiple points of view and the same semi-third person POV. So, if it's off-putting I apologize, but it isn't a mistake in POVs.

Thinking about it, maybe Saiman should try practicing the technique Fenrir mentioned for his essence's strength to rebuild. He might be naturally surrounded by the void, but doing the meditation thing couldn't hurt.

I really really hate how obsessed with OP and strategic characters some readers get. Saiman is well written and feels human. He is also a stupid sixteen year old. His character is fine as it is.

The author uses things like sexual assault just for the shock factor. Things don't really feel realistic and the introduction to the MCs life before transmigration goes on for several chapters.

I don't think Bunta can absorb Saiman's essence, though. He doesn't have golden essence so it isn't the same.

I don't know about the future parts of the story, but I can't say I remember it being said that Bunta was peak rank for his class, just strong and that he has a magic equipment that allows him to enter dungeons one rank below his rank.

I feel like the only way Saiman could find out the truth with the boss looming over him is the same way that he saw Jack's memories
