For sure, he is not well at this point in time. He 's young and dumb but add on a heap on trauma and loss with no coping mechanisms and voilà.
However, after how he ‘felt’ about Anastasia earlier, Everard was convinced that he was the one who should be with her, not that blood-sucking monster. He didn’t want to let her leave his castle that easily.

Still a bit prickly.... I hope this doesn't continue.. if you go for dinner, Derek can pick up on it and, well, then...

He feels that whatever he's working on would be mutually beneficial to you both." She narrows her eyes slightly, "If you're not interested still call him and let him know yourself, instead of ignoring him like last time, please. I don't own my own company. I work for one that tries to keep cordial acquaintances with all prospective business ventures. It could be beneficial to at least be respectfully polite by responding."

Everyone needs Brian in their life!!!
I hang up the phone after talking with Brian. Melita left to go to the store and I gave him a call to try and get some clarification. Her whole demeanor threw me for a loop earlier. I didn't know how to react other than give her some space. I explained to Brian what was going on and her reactions. He assured me to just let her vent, because her home meant a lot to her. It was her safe place and right now it was broken and technically was invaded by strangers. He knows that her rational mind knows that these things happen and those 'strangers' are here to fix the problem, but her emotions still feel that way. He reminded me that it's her right to feel that way, that everyone has bad days, where emotions get the better of them. That once she has cooled down and let her rational mind process everything, she will most likely apologize for her actions.

I know I'm obsessive about my carpets, but they are my carpets. I have no doubt these two plumbers are thinking I'm about to flip out like an entitled, pretentious bitch on them about it too. However, I know they are just doing a job and once again, the part about informing others to not walk on my carpets with shoes or to put covers on was forgotten. I didn't want to put up a tacky sign, but at this point, I might have an aneurism from suppressing my frustration.

omg I forgot who picky she is about shoes in the house...
I raise my hand to my head and take a deep breath, "Excuse me. I need to make a phone call. I ask that you both wear these inside my home though." I open the closet and pull out the blue booties that you slide on over your shoes. I slip out of my own shoes and hand them to the man before pulling out my phone.

He immediately raises his hands in the air, "I'm so sorry ma'am. We had to rush out and turn off the water to the place. My assistant must have not checked his shoes. We'll be happy to pay for the cleaning service."
