My father clearly did something to my body, but understanding exactly what remains elusive. I don't know how this will affect me in the future, but so far, it has only brought advantages. First, I started watching the instructional videos, to visually see what awaited me next. To my utter surprise, everything was wonderfully explained. The presentation was interesting and lively, with a thorough breakdown of the material and stuffing the whole array of data directly into your head. The three hours flew by so fast that I didn't even realize when Susan disconnected me from the glasses, smirking at me.

Nothing has been 'stolen' from fate because that thing most clearly exists in front of Winston now. It's just that whatever was bound to happen will now not happen. Imagine he dreams of an Immortal King murdered by a very specific dagger. If he 'steals' the dagger, it's now in front of him and the king can no longer be murdered. It hasn't removed the piece from the equation, but it's just that the previously set course of action will not happen anymore; effectively changing fate.
